Especially during COVID, we wanted to make sure bluebot could be installed remotely for owners of secondary properties.
To complete a remote installation, simply provide the device to a person who can access the intended property to install bluebot. The installer will need to download the bluebot water app from the iOS App Store, then complete account creation and device installation through the app. Once the device has successfully installed (we recommend having the installer turn on a faucet to confirm flow), simply contact support from within the app or directly to email@example.com with the device’s serial number (which can be found in the app by selecting the device, scrolling down to select device info. The serial number is the third cell from the top, beginning with BB81.
Once you have located the serial number, contact support with the serial number and the phone number on the account you’d like to become the primary owner of the bluebot.
