If your Wi-Fi signal doesn't reach your preferred bluebot installation location, we recommend considering an alternative location, or adding a Wi-Fi range extender/repeater. The best way to test whether bluebot will receive a strong signal is by checking the signal on your phone. If you see 2+ bars of Wi-Fi at your installation location, bluebot should work reliably.
Each property's Wi-Fi environment is different, so we recommend doing a little research to determine which solution is best for your home and budget. The best place to start is by calling your Wi-Fi service provider, and discussing what options are available directly through them. They may be able to provide a more up to date Wi-Fi router, with a stronger signal strength, depending on the age of your router. Many internet service providers (ISP) also offer range extenders that connect easily to your existing Wi-Fi environment, and are backed by their support system. This is a great option for many customers.
When selecting your Wi-Fi extender, please ensure it broadcasts a 2.4GHz network signal. Dual Band extenders provide both 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks and will work for bluebot.
