Once you’ve confirmed your network reaches your installation location with at least two bars (please refer to this article for more information on Wi-Fi at your installation location), the next step is to confirm that you have a 2.4GHz network with your internet service provider (ISP).
This can be done a few ways:
- Your network may have a “2.4” after the network name
- If your network shows up in the bluebot app during setup, it’s a 2.4GHz network
If you’ve added a Wi-Fi extender/repeater, confirm it is a Dual Band repeater and provides the 2.4GHz network.
All bluebot devices undergo multiple Quality Control checks prior to shipment, including a Wi-Fi connectivity test. If you have confirmed you have a strong signal at your installation location, and are connecting to a 2.4GHz network, please contact our support directly to escalate troubleshooting to our technical support team.
If you would like to speak to a member of the bluebot team, simply navigate to Settings > Support from within the app and choose your preferred method of communication. Otherwise, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org
